A great record in the start of the Egyptian league, which Al-Ahly achieved with their Swiss coach Rene Weiler, which was not achieved since Manuel Jose was the coach of the Red Castle.

Al-Ahly defeated Haras El-Hedoud in the eighth round of the Egyptian league, which is the sixth successive victory for the Red Team since the competition was launched, achieving the full score of points so far, topping the table.

The victory is the sixth in a row for Al Ahly since the start of the league this season, and this series of victories at the beginning of the competition has not been achieved by Al Ahly since Manuel Jose.

Al Ahly has so far won the League over Smouha, Al Intag Al Harby, Aswan, El-Gouna, Wadi Degla and Haras El-Hedoud.

The red team leads the league top with 18 points and is the full score of the points so far.

The red team did not achieve this series since the 2004/2005 season, when Al Ahly won the first 6 games against Suez Cement, Al-Tarsana, Al-Mansoura, Ittihad Alexandria, Al Masry and Baladya Al-Mahalla.

At the time, Al-Ahly and Jose achieved the historical record in winning successive matches since the start of the league championship, by winning the first 17 games.
