Even if Liverpool are at the top of the league, even if all the rivals were out of the Anfield stadium as losers, Pep Guardiola is confident that Manchester City will be able to win on Sunday in the upcoming match against Champions League holders.

Liverpool were more likely than before the strong confrontation, putting pressure on City as they are six points behind in the Premier League race, but Guardiola does not see his side as the weakest side in the clash.

"I have never played a game with the feeling that I am the weakest and I will not win. I have never felt it," the Spaniard told reporters. "I will not go to the pitch thinking I will lose the game.

"To win games like this you have to be at the best level. You can't be average." he added.

Liverpool lead the standings with a 6-point lead over runners-up City, the latter's win on Sunday necessary to boost their chances of maintaining the league title.

Liverpool, on the other hand, would not want to miss the chance to stay away at the top, so winning and nothing but winning is their slogan on Sunday.
