CAIRO – 12 October 2019: Liverpool will not allow the Qatari government to politicize the presence of the English team or usethem for propaganda for the 2022 World Cup, according to Daily Mail.

The English team will arrive in Qatar in December to participate in the 2019 FIFA Club World Cup as they won the 2019 UEFA Champions League title.

Liverpool will protect their players including the Egyptian winger, Mohamed Salah, from being used by the Qatari regime.

Liverpool achieved a perfect start at the league with 24 points from their first eight games and they are leading the table with eight points ahead of the second placed and defending champions, Manchester City.

After the international break, the Reds will face Manchester United and they hope to keep their winning run going.

Liverpool are chasing their first League title in almost three decades as they last achieved the title in 1990.The Reds aim to avoid last season’s fate when they lost the title after a fierce competition with Manchester City by one point.
