CAIRO- 5 October 2019: Egyptian League defending champions, Al-Ahly, are having a great time under their new Swiss manager, Rene Weiler, and they hope to keep on their winning run when they face Aswan on Saturday afternoon at the third round of the league.

Weiler won the fans’ hearts since he was appointed the club new manager as he led the club to win the precious Super Cup title after a 3-2 victory over rivals, Zamalek, as well as securing the team’s spot at CAF Champions League group stage and starting the league with two victories over Smouha and Al Inttag El Harby respectively.

The Swiss manager called Alieu Diang and Ahmed El Sheik for the clash after they were ruled out of the team squad that defeated Al Inttag on Wednesday.

Al-Ahly squad for the game consists of: Mohamed El Shenawy, Mostafa Shobir, Sherif Ekramy, Aly Maaloul, Mahmoud Wahid, Ramy Rabia, Yasser Ibrahim, Ayman Ashraf, Mohamed Hany, Ahmed Fathy, Hamdy Fathy, Dieng, Amr El Solia, Mohamed Magdy Afsha, ussein El Shahat, El Sheikh, Hossam Ashour, Junior Ajayi, Ramadan Sobhy, Walid Soliman, Giraldo, Salah Mohsen and Walid Azarro.

The game starts on 3:00 pm.
