CAIRO – 28 September 2019: Liverpool players are on fire this season at the Premier League and they have achieved their 7th straight victory to gain 21 points.

whatever their performance, Liverpool players are capable of getting the three points from their opponents.

On Saturday, the Reds opened the games of Week 7 with a difficult victory over Sheffield United in front of Sheffield’s passionate fans.

Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, said “But all respect to Sheffield United, they did really well and they did that over 95 minutes, that really deserves all the respect.”

The Reds’ manager counted on Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah to help break the opponent’s defense but the solution came at the second half by Georginio Wijnaldum with the help of Sheffield’s goalkeeper who failed to control the ball.

Klopp added “It was not our biggest chance in the game, unlucky for Sheffield United for sure. So if it would have been a draw I would sit here and say that’s how it was today, Sheffield deserved it and that’s what we deserved.”

Liverpool, who are searching for their first league title in almost three decades, are leading the table with five points ahead of the second placed and the defending champions, Manchester City.
