CAIRO 9 September 2019: Egypt U18 Women Volleyball team face Brazil at 2019 FIVB Volleyball Girls' U18 World Championship on Monday night at hall Suez Canal in Ismailia.

The Egyptian girls aim to continue their successful run at the competition, which saw them achieving two victories at the first two games but losing to China 0-3.

Egypt defeated Puerto Rico 3-1 at the opening game of the tournament.

The Egyptian girls have dominated the game from the start and they won the first set 26-24 but Puerto Rico players returned in the game with a 25-20 win at the second set.

The Egyptian girls bounced back and won the third set 30-28 after a tough battle with Puerto Rico before winning the fourth set 25-21 to achieve their first victory at the tournament.

The second game against Cameroon also ended with a 3-1 victory for the Egyptian girls.

For the first time in the history, Egypt hosts the competition at hall Suez Canal in Ismailia between 5–14 September.

Egypt plays in Group A alongside Cameroon, China, Brazil and Puerto Rico.

Egypt will play their last group stage game on Monday against Brazil.

Egyptian girls aim to follow the steps of the U19 Volley ball national team who achieved the fourth position at the World Cup in Tunisia last month.
