CAIRO _ 7 September 2019: Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhy attended Egypt’s second game at 2019 FIVB Volleyball Girls' U18 World Championship against Cameroon on Friday at hall Suez Canal in Ismailia.

The Egyptian girls won the game 3-1 to continue their amazing run at the competition as they won the opening game against Puerto Rico 3-1.

“They are doing great at the first two games in the competition. They have great abilities to add another achievement to the Egyptian sports.” Sobhy said.

For the first time in the history, Egypt hosts the competition at hall Suez Canal in Ismailia between 5–14 September.

Egypt plays in Group A alongside Cameroon, China, Brazil and Puerto Rico.

Egypt will play their last group stage game on Monday against Brazil.

Egyptian girls aim to follow the steps of the U-19 Volley ball national team who achieved the fourth position at the World Cup in Tunisia last month.
