CAIRO – 25 August 2019: Liverpool Egyptian winger, Moamed Salah, was the team fans’ hero on Saturday when he led his team to defeat Arsenal 3-1 at the third round of the Premier League.

Salah and his teammates gained 9 points from the first three games at the Premier League to stay at the top of the table.

Salah did not have a good start at the game as Arsenal dominated the game and played with a combat 4-4-2 formation with 9 players at least in front of their goalkeeper and they counted on the speed of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and the club new signing, Nicolas Pepe.

Arsenal had more chances through the team’s two strikers while Liverpool failed to break Arsenal defense.

At the last 10 minutes, Liverpool opened the score through a header from Joel Matip after a wonderful cross from Trent Alexander Arnold.

Following the goal, Liverpool dominated the game and Arsenal could not stop Liverpool’s attacks and the first half ended with a 1-0 lead for Liverpool.

Everything changed at the second half as Arsenal started to go for attack to equalize the score, which gave the chance to Mohamed Salah and his teammates to create more attacks.

Salah won a penalty for Liverpool after being tackled by Arsenal defender, David Luiz, and the Egyptian converted it to make the score 2-0.

Five minutes later, Salah led a counter attack and dribbled Luiz again to be one against one with the opponent’s goalkeeper and the Egyptian put the ball in the back of the net with a wonderful shot.

Liverpool continued their amazing run at the League with three victories from the first three games.
