CAIRO – 22 August 2019: Aston Villa manager, Dean Smith, believes that his team have created many chances during the first two games at the Premier League and he is sure that his attacking players, including Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet, will be able to score goals.

“Jack Grealish had a really good chance last weekend. Wesley has teed up Trezeguet for a good chance. Even Neil Taylor has had two chances. So we’re creating chances and we just have to start taking them now.” Smith said.

Aston Villa suffered two losses at their first two games at the Premier League against Tottenham Hotspur and Bournemouth respectively.

Trezeguet started the first two games for his teams but he failed to convert his team’s clear chances to goals.

Aston Villa hosts Everton on Friday night at the opening game of the third round and they hope to achieve their first win at the Premier League this season.

Smith continued “Their defensive organisation is good, they’re tough to breach and they are very well coached. But they have also not scored a lot of goals as they’ve only got one this season. It’s going to be tough, like they all are.”
