CAIRO – 10 August 2019: Liverpool Egyptian winger, Mohamed Salah, had a great start to the Premier League new season, leading his team to defeat the newly promoted, Norwich City 4-1 on Friday night at Anfield Stadium.

Liverpool produced a wonderful performance in front of their fans to send a clear message that they will fight for the Premier League title.

Liverpool opened the score after seven minutes through an own goal from Norwich defender, Grant Hanley, who could not control Origi’s cross.

Salah, the Premier League top goal scorer in the last two seasons, scored his first goal this season and Liverpool’s second goal in the game after a wonderful play with Roberto Firmino.

Salah also provided an assist for Virgil Van Dijk who added the third goal in the first half.

Liverpool’s fourth goal came only minutes before half time from a smart header from Origi who received an amazing pass from Trent Alexander Arnold.

Norwich City’s only goal at the game came at the second half by their veteran Finnish striker, Teemu Pukki at the second half.

Liverpool fans put much hopes on Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, and his players to get the Premier League title back to the club after 30 years of absence.
