CAIRO - 11 July 2019: Algeria’s progress step after step gave the fans confidence, and when it comes to support, the Algerian fans are always on time.

Algerian newspaper "Al Shaa`b" revealed that there is a bridge will be launched between Algeria and Egypt in the coming hours to transfer Algerian fans to Suez.

Algerian fans aboard six charter planes will arrive exceptionally to support the Algerian side against Cote d'Ivoire on Thursday night.

AFCON semi-final matches will be known by the end of Thursday when quarter-final tough games end.

AFCON quarter-finals started on Wednesday with two matches which ended by victory for Senegal & Nigeria over Benin & South Africa respectively.

On Thursday, two matches will be played between Algeria vs Ivory Coast & Tunisia vs Madagascar.

At 06:00 p.m. on Suez new stadium, Algeria, supported by huge fans coming from their hometown for this game, will face tough test against Ivory Coast which qualified for this stage after a non-convincing victory over Mali.

Algeria, CAF best team in the groups stage, look up to qualifying for the semi-final for the first time since 2010 when they have been thrashed 0-4 against Egypt.

Algeria faced Ivory Coast in 2010 also in the quarter-final and they won 3-2. The winner of this game will face Nigeria.
