Tazkarti opens the ticketing process for AFCON final rounds

CAIRO, 03 July 2019: Tazkarti, the official website for the African Cup of Nations’ tickets, announced the release of knockout tickets on Wednesday.

The Group Stage of the African Nations Cup ended and the competing teams were determined to participate in the 16th round.

"Tickets for the 16th round and quarter-finals, in addition to the final rounds’ tickets, will be offered at once on Wednesday, in response to the high demand. Tazkarti sends its sincere thanks and appreciation to the Egyptian fans, who have come in great numbers to book tickets for the African Nations Cup." Tazkarti said on its official website.

The AFCON 16th round launches on Friday and extends till next Monday. The quarter-finals will start on Wednesday & Thursday. While the Final game will be on July 19th.

Tazkarti, a website launched to secure booking tickets for the 2019 African Cup of Nations set to be held in Egypt starting June 21, said that fans have flocked to receive their FAN IDs and tickets for the games they are willing to attend.

The Organizing Committee of the African Nations Cup has identified the following outlets:

First degree tickets: The following Orange branches (Heliopolis, Nasr City, El Rehab, Dokki, Downtown, Zamalek, Manial, Abbaseya, Shoubra, 6th of October, El Haram, Maadi and Mokattam).

2nd and 3rd degree: All the following youth centers (Al-Jazira Youth Center, Maadi Youth Club, Suez Club, Sheikh Zayed Youth Center at Ismailia, 6th of October, Horse Owners Club at Smouha, El Shams Club.)

Earlier, The Organizing Committee of the 2019 African Cup of Nations opened the door for the Egyptian and African football fans to get their tickets through the website.

"There are two ways to purchase your tickets; through your own Credit Card or through Fawri application," A source in the organizing Committee told Filgoal website.

"Each person can purchase up to 5 tickets, the ticket will be numbered by your seat," the source added.
