CAIRO, 30 June 2019: Morocco's NordineAmrabat said he still has 24 hours to recover from his injury against Côte d'Ivoire, stressing that his team would do their best against South Africa to qualify as first of their group.

The Moroccan team was delighted to be able to qualify for the 2019 African Cup of Nations with a precious win on Cote d'Ivoire 1-0 on Friday.

South Africa have to secure a positive result against Morocco on Monday in their last game in the group stage.

"Our team was able to win in the first two matches against Namibia and Côte d'Ivoire, but we must do our best to win against South Africa to qualify as the first," he told the press.

The Moroccans dominated the strong confrontation and took three points to take the lead of Group D in the continental championship, raising their record of points to 6 points.

"I had an ankle injury in the final minutes of the match against Côte d'Ivoire, but I played more minutes. I am getting better and I still have 24 hours to recover."


Morocco’s Youssef El Nesseiry was the protagonist alongside NordinAmrabatwho gave the assist for his teammate.
