CAIRO, 30June 2019:Cameroon coach Clarence Seedorf seemed satisfied with the draw against Ghana.
Cameroon raised their points to 4 points in Group F of the 2019 African Cup of Nations, with a 0-0 draw against Ghana.
"We are at the end of the season, so we need to save the players' effort, especially since we have not qualified so far," the defending title champions’ coach said after the match.
"We played very competitively against Ghana and we played well against a strong team that managed to create a lot of opportunities, but we saved them brilliantly," Seedorf said at the press conference.
"The tie is a fair result after the performance of the two teams. I thank my players for the level they have shown."
"We got the game in a special way, but we had to respect the quality of the opponent, so I'm satisfied with the draw."
Cameroon lead Group F with four points after a victory over Guinea Bissau and a draw against Ghana.
