CAIRO - 7 June 2017: During the past few years football has seen a dramatic increase of the price tag of each player. Players are no longer valued by what they do on the pitch only, but instead they are valued by what they do off the pitch as well.

According to ESPN, last year Paul Pogba former Juventus player went to Manchester United with a price tag that is said to be £105 million ($135 million.) Many questioned Manchester United’s decision to buy Pogba with this huge price tag.

With the news that is coming today, Kylian Mbappe Monaco's 18 year old striker is expected to become the most expensive player on the planet if he decides to leave Monaco. According to the Metro, Arsenal are planning to submit a £113 million bid on Mbappe. Also, Real Madrid current Champions League winners are planning a bid to purchase the French youngster.

Gianluigi Donnarumma an 18 year old goalkeeper who currently plays for AC Milan is another young talent who has a huge price tag. Mino Riola his agent has previously told talksport website, “ Donnaruma is like Modigliani (famous Italian Painter) and is worth €170 million ($190 million.)
