CAIRO – 15 April 2019: Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, believes that his team cannot drop any points at their remaining games if they want to retain the Premier League title.

“We think Liverpool are going to win all their games, but the Premier League is still in our hands. We'll have to win every game if we want to make back-to-back titles, we know that and the players have shown they want to do it." Guardiola said.

Manchester City are two points behind the league leaders, Liverpool, but they still have a postponed game against Manchester United at the derby.

Man City defeated Crystal Palace 3-1 on Sunday thanks to two goals from Raheem Sterling and a goal from Gabriel Jesus while Liverpool defeated Chelsea 2-0.

Guardiola added “This game was really good after the Champions League defeat because the stage was not easy, we’ve played every three days [through] December, January and February but, even if we are not fresh, we have the personality for the games.”

Manchester City face Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday at the UEFA Champions League quarter finals second leg and they will meet again two days later at the Premier League.
