Cairo, 12 April 2019: A few hours are away from the draw for the 2019 African Cup of Nations, which will be held in Egypt, which is the 32nd edition of the continent's oldest tournament.

This will be the fifth time that the tournament will be held in Egypt after four previous occasions in 1959, 1974, 1986 and 2006.

The African Football Confederation (CAF) revealed the final classification of the 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON).

The classification came as follows:

1: Egypt - Ghana - Tunisia - Côte d'Ivoire - Cameroon - Senegal.

2: Morocco - Nigeria - Congo - Algeria - Mali - Guinea.

3: Uganda - South Africa - Guinea Bissau - Zimbabwe - Angola - Burundi.

4: Mauritania - Namibia - Benin - Kenya - Madagascar - Tanzania.
Egypt won the rights to host the tournament after being selected over South Africa.
The 2019 African Cup of Nations was initially scheduled to be hosted by Cameroon. However, Cameroon was stripped of hosting the tournament for serious delays in preparations.

Egypt is the most successful nation in the history of the competition as Egypt has won a record of seven titles including three in a row between 2006 and 2010.
