EFA reveals Egypt vs Nigeria kick-off time

CAIRO, 15 March 2019: Egyptian Football Association announced the date of Egypt’s friendly game against Nigeria.

Egypt faces Nigeria in Lagos on 26 March in their preparation for the 2019 AFCON which will be held in Egypt.

EFA’s account on Twitter revealed that EFA reached an agreement with the Nigerian Football Association to start the game at 06:00 p.m. CLT.

EFA was keen to make the game start after the Egyptian Olympic team’s match against Netherlands’ Olympic team which will start at 04:00 p.m. CLT.





Egyptian national team’s coach, Javier Aguirre, announced national team squad that will face Niger on March 23 at the last round of 2019 African Cup of Nations’ Qualifiers and Nigeria.

Aguirre’s chosen squad consists of:

Goalkeepers:
Mahmoud Gennesh, Mahmoud Abou-Gabal, Ahmed El-Shennawy, Amer Amer

Defenders:
Omar Gaber, Mohamed Hany, Ali Gabr, Mahmoud Alaa, Baher El-Mohamady, Ahmed Ayman Mansour, Karim Hafez, Ahmed Aboul-Fotouh

Midfielders:
Amr El-Sulaya, Mohamed Elneny, Tarek Hamed, Ali Ghazal, Mohamed Nabil Dunga, Mahmoud Trezeguet, Ammar Hamdy, Abdulrahman Magdy, Eslam Gaber

Strikers:
Ahmed Hassan Kouka, Salah Mohsen, Mostafa Mohamed

Mostafa Mohamed, Mohamed Nabil Dunga, Ahmed Aboul-Fotouh, Ahmed Ayman Mansour, Ammar Hamdy and Abdulrahman Magdy will wear the national team jersey for the first time.

Egypt have already secured their spot at 2019 African Cup of Nations as they share the top of the Group with Tunisia with 12 points each, on the top of winning the rights to host the tournament last January.
