CAIRO – 21 January 2019: Liverpool Egyptian winger, Mohamed Salah, revealed on Sunday how the team managed to bounce back from a 1-0 loss at the first half against Crystal Palace to win the game at the end 4-3.

“We talked to each other [at half-time] that we had to be strong mentally because this is a tough time. We talked together and the manager also gave us information and we played well and we deserved the game,” Salah told press on Sunday.

Andros Townsend opened the score for Palace 10 minutes before half time but two goals from Mohamed Salah and another two goals from Robert Firmino and Sadio Mane secured the victory for Liverpool despite James Tomkins and Max Mayer's goals for Palace.

Salah added, “We expected before the game that the game was going to be very difficult. We conceded three goals; it’s hard a little bit but we have to accept it. This is football and we have to live with that.”

Liverpool is leading the Premier League table with 60 points, four points ahead of the second placed and the defending champions, Manchester City.
