CAIRO, 5 January 2019: Amir Mortada Mansour, general supervisor of Zamalek football team, announced on Saturday that Zamalek signed the Moroccan striker, Khaled Botayeb from Turkish club, Yeni Malatyaspor.

Amir stated that Khaled Botayeb arrived to Egypt on Friday night and they finalized all the contracting terms with the player; the official announcement will be on Saturday night.

It’s reported that Botayeb’s contract will be signed tonight with Zamalek’s president, Mortada Mansour, and it’ll be for 3 years and a half

The 31-years-old scored five goals in 18 games with his Turkish team this season.

He played throughout his career with French clubs at the lower levels. He also played for Ajaccio and Strasbourg before moving to Yeni Malatyspor in the summer of 2017.

Overall, he has scored 17 goals in 51 appearances for his Turkish side since 2017.
