CAIRO – 23 July 2018: Liverpool Egyptian winger, Mohamed Salah, showed support to his German teammate, Loris Karius, after the latter’s poor performance at a friendly game against Borussia Dortmund on Sunday at Bank of America Stadium in USA.

Liverpool opened the score after 25 minutes by a header from Virgil Van Dijk and their goalkeeper, Karius, kept a clean sheet till the last 25 minutes but he could not stop Borussia Dortmund's attacking line who scored three goals.

Liverpool fans criticized Karius for the third goal as he could not stop Christian Pulisic’s weak shot and dropped the ball which was followed by Jacob Bruun who scored the third.

“Stay strong Karius, it has happened to the best of players. Ignore those who hate,” Salah tweeted after the game.

Karius’ performance at the 2018 UEFA Champions League final against Real Madrid was a disaster and he was behind two of Real Madrid's goals at the game that ended with a 3-1 victory for the Spanish club.

Salah followed his team loss from the side line alongside Sadio Mane as they just joined the team preparation for the new season.
