CAIRO – 10 July 2018: Belgian international footballer, Eden Hazard, revealed on Tuesday that Real Madrid is still a dream for him despite the departure of his idol, Zinedine Zidane, from the club.

“Zidane is someone special; it's true, but I think Real Madrid is everyone's dream. Zidane or no Zidane, the white jersey (of Real Madrid) is unique,” Hazard said on Tuesday.

Zidane left Real Madrid after leading the club to achieve three consecutive Champions League titles for the first time in the history of the competition.

Hazard has been linked with a move to Real Madrid since the end of the season and he is expected to replace Cristiano Ronaldo who could leave to Juventus.

Asked about his feelings if he could not move to Madrid, he said “The blue sweater (of Chelsea) suits me well, so it does not bother me if I stay.”

Hazard shined with Belgium at the 2018 World Cup in Russia leading them to the World Cup semi-finals for the first time since the 1986 World Cup.

Hazard added; “For now, it's the World Cup. As I have said at least 100 times, I am at Chelsea, and for the moment nobody has made me an offer."

Belgium will face France on Tuesday at 8 p.m.
