CAIRO – 27 May 2018: Neymar’s name is still on everyone's lips after revealing his future hopes. The Brazilian forward, who prepares for the next 2018 World Cup, assured that he always wanted to work with Manchester City’s coach, Pep Guardiola.

"I have always wanted to work with Guardiola," he told ESPN Brazil.

"It's different; I arrived [at Barca] after he left. I really want to work with him,” he added.

The Paris Saint Germain player hasn’t had the chance to play under Guardiola’s helm, as he was Barcelona’s coach in 2009-2012. Neymar joined Barcelona in 2013 coming from Brazilian team Santos.

Neymar has been the most wanted player in Real Madrid recently.

Asensio, speaking to esRadio, commented about the possible signing of Neymar by Real Madrid.

"Neymar has always shown a great level in the world; he is a player that I like and we all like," Asensio stated.

The Brazilian suffered an injury during the French Classico in the game against Marseille on February 25; this injury ruled him out of the rest of the season with his Parisian club. However, he came back to his national team’s training sessions.

The World Cup starts on June 14 and the draw put Brazil in Group E alongside Switzerland, Costa Rica and Serbia.
