CAIRO – 20 May 2018:The Egyptian League’s curtains will fall on Sunday at 10p.m. when Al-Ahly, the league’s champion, face the third placed, Al-Masry, in the last match of the domestic competition at Borg El-Arab stadium.

Despite the fact that the match is not important for both teams and will not change anything in their rankings, but Al-Ahlyconsider the game as a good chance to satisfy their fans.

Al-Ahly suffered in their last four matches, encountering two losses and two draws. These bad results led Al-Ahly’s football committee to sack Al-Ahly’s coach, Hossam el-Badry.

Temporary manager, Ahmed Ayoub, is set to manage his first game as a coach after being an assistant coach for Badry in the last two seasons.

Al-Masry enters the game with high spirits as they came back from Sudan with a valuable point against the Sudanese team, Al-Hilal, in the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup competition.

Ayoub announced Al-Ahly’s squad:

Goalkeepers: Sherif Ikramy - Ali Lotfi - Ramadan Mostafa

Defenders: Karim Yahya - Ayman Ashraf - Mahmoud al Jazzar - Sabri Rahil - Bassem Ali
