CAIRO – 20 April 2018: Saudi Al-Ahly player Moamen Zakaria’s goal was voted Goal of the Week in the last round of the Asian Champions League group stage.




Zakaria scored Al-Ahly’s second goal against the Emirati club Al-Jazira, ending the game 2-1. This victory secured Al-Ahly’s lead on the top of the group.

Zakaria’s goal got 57 percent of the votes, followed by 34 percent for Al-Ain midfielder Omar Abdulrahman’s goal against the Qatari club Al-Rayan.

Al-Ahly is set to face the Qatari club Al-Sadd in the Asian Champions League’s quarter-final on May 6 and 13.

Moamen Zakaria, who is on loan from Cairo giants Al-Ahly, scored three goals in the last three games of the Asian Champions League. He scored six goals in 22 games with the Saudi club. His loan will end by the end of the season.
