CAIRO – 20 March 2018: Mohamed Salah has shined with Liverpool in his first season with the club. Former Arsenal striker Ian Wright, therefore, believes that Salah will leave to join Spanish giants Real Madrid sooner or later.

“Salah’s displays for Liverpool have been phenomenal. And ironically, it is his performances on Merseyside which could give them a huge problem before too long. Are you telling me when the rebuilding begins at Real Madrid, he won’t be at the top of their wanted list?” Wright told press on Tuesday, according to Metro.

Salah has been linked with a move to Real Madrid next season since he started shining with Liverpool.

Salah has scored 36 goals for Liverpool this season in all competitions, including 28 goals in the Premier League, making him the top goal scorer this season in that league.

Wright believes that Liverpool will do everything to keep Salah inside the club. He said, “And while it’s blindingly obvious Liverpool will put up the fight of their lives to keep him, it’s a battle they will find hard to win.”

Salah led Liverpool to defeat Watford 5-0 on Saturday in the Premier League, scoring four goals and providing an assist to Roberto Firmino.

Liverpool fans fear losing Mo Salah next summer after his amazing performance, like what happened with their former Brazilian star, Philippe Coutinho, who left the club to join Barcelona last January.
