CAIRO – 13 March 2018: Sevilla President, Jose Castro, believes that his team has a great chance to make history against Manchester United on Tuesday night when they meet at the UEFA Champions League round of 16 second leg.

“We will try to come up with a brace act in the mythical stadium of Old Trafford. We're close to achieving something important after 60 years of not being present in the quarter-finals,” Castro told the press on Monday.

Sevilla were the better team in the first leg against the English giants but they failed to score goals and ended the game with a goalless draw.

Sevilla’s best achievement at the UEFA Champions League was in the 1958 season when they reached the quarter finals but lost to Real Madrid 10-2 on aggregate.

Castro spoke about the club’s lack of goals at the recent games: “We're creating lots of chances, so the goals will come if we keep playing as we have been."

Sevilla landed in Manchester on Monday afternoon to prepare for the game that starts on Tuesday at 9:45 p.m. (Cairo local time).
