CAIRO – 9 March 2018: Al-Ahly’s Walid Azzarou and Junior Ajayee have been called to their national teams March’s camps preparing for the World Cup.

Morocco’s calling for Azzarou is not the first as he featured with Morocco in three international games but hasn’t scored his first Moroccan goal yet.

The Lions of Atlas will travel to Italy to face Serbia before they host Uzbekistan back in Morocco.

On the other hand, Nigeria called Ajayee for the first time to the first team but he featured in the youth and the Olympic national team before.

The Green Eagles face Poland on March 23 and Serbia on March 27 in London.
Azzarou and Ajayee shined with Al-Ahly since they joined the Red Devils and won a place in Al-Ahly’s fans’ hearts.

Azzarou is currently the top scorer of the Egyptian League with 17 goals beside four goals in CAF Champions League and one goal in the Egyptian Cup.

Ajayee played 64 games since he joined Al-Ahly; he scored 20 goals and provided 16 assists.

Nigeria placed in Group D alongside Argentina, Croatia and Iceland, while Morocco placed in Group B alongside Portugal, Spain and Iran.
