CAIRO - 17 April 2017: Egyptian midfielder Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet informed Belgian Anderlecht Club that he will not renew his contract in June, after the end of his season on loan to Belgian Excel Mouscron, said source close to the player.
The 22-year-old joined Anderlecht on loan from Egyptian Al-Ahly club, and played only 140 minutes in six games.
In May 2016, Anderlecht signed Trezeguet permanently for $2.3 million, to be the second most expensive footballer in Ahly’s history after former striker Flavio Amado, according to Kingfut.
Trezeguet is on loan to Excel Mouscron and scored six goals this season, after bagging a brace against Roeselare in the UEFA European League playoffs in April 2015.
