CAIRO – 13 January 2018: Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale will reappear in the Real Madrid line-up for the league match against Villarreal on Sunday, after being left out of the squad for the recent cup match on Wednesday, January 10 against Numancia.

Real Madrid will play against Villarreal at the Santiago Bernabéu in the 19th round of the Santander La Liga 2017/2018.

The two Real Madrid stars participated in the normal training session for the first team on Friday at the Ciudad Deportiva de Valdebebas, prior to a press conference held by Zinedine Zidane. This will be his 120th match as manager of the Madrid side.

Zidane had a total of 21 players in the first team training; notable inclusions in the session are the full back Tejero and goalkeeper Dario.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale were two noteworthy absences in the match played earlier this week against Numancia in the Copa del Rey, where the Madridistas qualified to the quarter-finals with an aggregate score of 5-2.

The Copa del Rey quarter-final draw was revealed on Friday, and Real Madrid will face Leganes, while Barcelona will face their district rival, Espanyol.

Real Madrid is suffering in the league this season. They are in fourth place with 32 points, 16 points behind the league leaders, Barcelona.
