CAIRO – 12 December 2017: Mohamed Salah, Liverpool`s Egyptian player, has been chosen by fans to win Liverpool`s “Player of the Month” award for November – the third time in just four months.

He told Liverpoolfc.com, "I'm very happy to win it again, but at the end, it's an individual award, and, for me, we need to win games and we need to get the points; that's the most important thing.”

Salah scored eight goals in six games in all the competitions in November, earning him the title of Player of the Month for the third time with Liverpool.

"It's nice, but we play as a team of 11 players, so we have to win games,” he said.

Salah scored his eight goals against Marribor, West Ham, Southampton, Chelsea and Stoke City.

"It was a good month for me. From the beginning, I've had a good season with the team, and that's the most important thing," he added.

Mohamed Salah also won BBC’s “African Footballer of the Year Award” on Monday. He received the award from his manager, Jurgen Klopp.

Salah became the third Egyptian to win such an award – after Mohamed Barakat, who won the award in 2005, and Mohamed Aboutrika, who won it in 2008.

Salah reached his 19th goal with Liverpool after scoring in his 24th game against Everton with the Reds, equaling his goals last season with AS Roma in 41 games when he also scored 19 goals in the Serie A (Italian League).
