CAIRO – 18 November 2017: Pep Guardiola has been named “manager of the month” in the Premier League for the second consecutive month this season.

The Spanish coach led Manchester City to three victories in three games in October.

It is the third time that Pep receives this award, which he was awarded in September and February of last season as well.

He managed to secure 31 points from eleven matches, with a goal difference of 31 goals. It is considered the best start in the history of the Premier League.

In addition to Guardiola, Manchester City has had another protagonist among the monthly prizes: Leroy Sané has been designated “player of the month” for October.

The prize confirms the full adaptation of the German international player to Guardiola`s style of play. In recent months, he showed his best level since landing in England, closing last month with three goals and three assists in three games.

Sané succeeded Kevin de Bruyne, who was the winner in September.
