CAIRO –12 November 2017: Ghana's coach Kwesi Appiah announced the lineup that will face Egypt in the World Cup qualifiers.

The lineup designates Richard Ofori as the goalkeeper and Mubarak Wakaso as a midfielder.

Ghana’s lineup is as following:

GK: Richard Ofori

DF: Harrison Afful, Lumor Angenyenu, Kassim Nuhu, Daniel Amartey

MF: Mubarak Wakaso, Edwin Gyasi, Ebenezer Ofori

FW: Raphael Dwamena, Godfred Donsah, Nana Ampomah

Egypt’s game with Ghana does not account for much as they have already qualified to the World Cup since the fifth round, after beating Congo 2-1 at Borg El-Arab Stadium.

The national team still occupies the first place of the group with 12 points, but Ghana ranks third with six points. The group also includes Congo and Uganda.

Ghana defeated Egypt 6-1 in the last World Cup qualifiers; Egypt’s only goal was scored by the legendary Mohamed Abo Trika.
