CAIRO –23 October 2017: Egypt’s head coach Hector Cuper called up 16 foreign-based players for Egypt’s upcoming match with Ghana in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

Egypt will travel to play against Ghana on November 12 at Cape Coast in the final round of the qualifiers. They’ll also face the UAE in a friendly, three days before Ghana’s match.

The list witnessed the exclusion of Al Taawoun’s Mostafa Fathi through injury, while Amr Warda, who plays for Greek side Atromitos, returned to the squad after missing the Uganda clash. Etoile du Sahel forward Amr Marei was included in the 16-man list.
