CAIRO –14 October 2017: The Ivorian Federation announced that Didier Drogba is back to the national team to face Morocco in the last round of African qualifiers to the 2018 World Cup.

Côte d'Ivoire national team needs to win against Morocco, while Morocco needs to achieve equivalent only, to reach Russia 2018 World Cup.

The elephants need the bilateral experience of Drogba and Toure in their crucial match with Morocco in the final round of the World Cup qualifiers, according to sportmania website.

Drogba participated in 104 meetings, scored 65 goals with the national team and has retired from international duty after the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

Côte d'Ivoire comes in second place with eight points and Morocco tops the group with nine points.

Drogba currently plays for Phoenix Rising FC, where he scored seven goals and assisting in two others in 12 games.
