CAIRO – 14 October 2017: Gymnast Ali Abou Al-kassim won the first place and the gold medal in the “still rings” competition at the Challenge Cup for Artistic Gymnastics held in Hungary, which concluded on Friday.

The tournament is being played by Abou Al-kassim, Nada Ayman and Ahmed Ashraf.

Abou Al-kassim has succeeded in adding a new special movement on the still rings apparatus, which is registered in his name in the International Gymnastics Federation Act in 2013 World Championship.

Abou Al-Kassim, 28, is one of the best players in the national team. He achieved many achievements of Egyptian gymnastics, the most important ever to get the gold medal on the still rings at the World Cup in Hungary in 2016, the first precedent in history.

In addition, he has been the owner of the Arab and African title for the last five years.
