CAIRO –13 October 2017-Tanta scored a valuable point against Zamalek in the fifth round of the Premier League at the Ghazl Mahalla stadium on Friday.

Salah Ashour scored his first goal with Zamalek in the 63rd minute through a cross from Abdullah Gomaa inside the penalty area. Mohammed Gaber tied for Tanta in the 72nd minute through a penalty kick, before his teammate Mohamed Asaad lost another penalty in the 23rd minute.

With this result, Zamalek achieved the third draw in five games and raised their score to 9 points, finishing fourth with Smouha, while Tanta raised its score to 6 points to occupy eighth place in the table of the league standings.

Nebojša Jovovic signed his contract to be Head Coach of Zamalek SC for the upcoming two years during his meeting with the club president Mortada Mansour in August.
