Congolese players check Borg Al Arab field

CAIRO – 8 October 2017: The Congolese team arrived at Borg Al Arab Stadium and the players are checking the field.

The Congolese delegation consisted of the players, and medical and coaching staff. They are checking Borg Al Arab Stadium and taking memorial photos with the large number of Egyptian spectators that are filling the seats of the stadium.

The Egyptian national team has also arrived after the Congolese team and are now preparing themselves for the pre-match warming up.

Egypt has a large chance to qualify to the World Cup 2018 this time, which will be held in Russia, as the team leads Group E with nine points. If they beat Congo Sunday, the team will qualify directly, without waiting for the last round of the African qualifiers, to the greatest football championship ever for the third time in Egypt’s history; after qualifying in the 1934 and 1990 editions of the World Cup.
