‘With bicycles we’ll qualify’

CAIRO – 6 October 2017 – 21 young men are traveling by bicycles to Alexandria to support the national team in their match against Congo scheduled for Sunday at Borg Al Arab Stadium.

A group of young men started a road trip on Friday in front of the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Giza on the way to Borg Al Arab Stadium in Alexandria in order to attend the Pharaohs' match against Congo in the qualifiers for the 2018 World Cup. The game will be played on Sunday at 8 p.m.

The road trip is made to support the national team in the framework of a campaign called “With bicycles we’ll qualify”.

The national team will face Congo in the fifth round of the African qualifiers for the 2018 World Cup. Egypt leads group E with 9 points, Uganda comes second with 7 points, Ghana is third with 5 points and in the last place is Congo with a single point, which makes the mission easy for Egypt to beat Congo and take a step closer to the World Cup.
