CAIRO – 5 September 2017: Negrig villagers requested to put the name of the Egyptian national team player and Liverpool’s winger Mohamed Salah on an Azhar institute in Negrig village in Gharbiya governorate on September 4 as he paid all the money needed for the institute.

They wrote an official letter to the General Secretary of Al-Azhar for constructing a religious institute named after the Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah to honor him for paying the full expenses of the institute.

As the letter stated; Mohamed Salah paid all the money needed for constructing this institute, in addition to repeatedly visiting Negrig village where he was born and never forgetting about it.
