Ramadan renews his contract with Stoke City

CAIRO-10 August 2017: Ramadan Sobhi signed a new five year contract with Stoke City on Thursday, Ramadan Sobhi new contract secured his place at the club till 2022.


“I received a friendly and good welcome from everyone at the Club, including my teammates and the management team in my first season. Thanks to the fans for the support they gave me throughout last season.” Ramadan spoke to Stoke City Official Website after signing the new contract.

Ramadan Sobhi joined Stoke City from Al Ahly in 2016; he played 19 games, including 17 games at the premier league, with Stoke City last season.

“There’s no doubting that Ramadan is an exciting young talent” Stoke City Chief executive, Tony Scholes spoke to the Club’s official website.

Scholes praised the Egyptian promising talent’s performance with the club last season saying “The first year in a new league and it’s fair to say new culture is always going to be challenging for a player. However, Ramadan has adapted to the league and country very quickly and showed that he has enormous potential. We’re delighted to have secured him on a contract until at least 2022.”

Ramadan, 20 years, expressed his feelings after renewing his contract, saying,” “I’m delighted to be signing this contract. I’m proud to be part of this Club and I’m determined to repay Stoke City for the faith they showed in me in signing me at just 19”

Ramadan Sobhi is expected to shine in the new Premier League season, he will travel with Stoke City to the Liverpool to meet Everton at Gudisson Park in their opening match at the Premier League.
