CAIRO – 6 August 2017: Liverpool changed their decision regarding Philippe Coutinho's transfer to Barcelona during the summer transfer period.

The ‘Reds’ Liverpool were not willing to sell Coutinho at first; however, the club officials changed their mind after receiving a lucrative offer from Barcelona reported to be around €100 million ($117 million), according to ESPN.

Sport website reported, that Barcelona will return in the coming days to Liverpool, in order to complete the deal after reaching an agreement with the Brazilian player. The representatives of Barcelona traveled to England three times in an attempt to sign the player.

Coutinho is the big deal signed by Spanish club president Josep Maria Bartomeu, who is not prepared to let him slip out of his hands after failing to sign Marco Verratti from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).

Barcelona officials have been in advanced talks to sign Liverpool’s attacking player Coutinho ever since the transfer of Barcelona’s winger Neymar to French giants PSG.
