CAIRO - 30 July 2017: Egypt Women Volleyball Team defeated Uganda on Saturday in their second match in Zone 5 African Cup of Nations qualifiers held in Kenya.

Egyptian team dominated the game against Uganda from the first moment, Uganda players couldn’t compete with the Egyptian experience, Egypt won the match 3-0.

Egypt won over Rwanda on Friday 3-1 in their first match in the competition, Egypt will meet the host nation, Kenya in their third match on Sunday.

Badrawy chosen squad for the qualifiers are Shorouk Fouad, Farida Asklany, Doaa Mohamed, Aya El Shamy, Aya Khaled, Nahla Sameh, Rahma Hassan, Sarah Amin, Doaa Ghobashy, Hedya Mostafa, Noor Yassin and Maryam Mostafa.

Egyptian team coach, Hesham Badrawy, depends on the experience of his players in the African Competitions to qualify for African Cup of Nations which qualifies to 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship in Japan.

Kenya has the most titles in African Cup of Nations with nine titles while Egypt won the title only three titles, the most recent one was in 2003 in Kenya.
