CAIRO – 18 July 2017: Egyptian Squash Youth team arrived at New Zealand on July 17 in order to participate in the World Junior Squash championship that will be held in there and will start for men on July 19 - 25 and for women on July 26 - 30.

The Egyptian National Team arrived after a long tiring trip that took 48 hours; the trip saw a transit in Dubai before heading to New Zealand.

The Egyptian Squash U19 Team participates with 12 players; six males and six females, and the following players were selected to represent Egyptian men's team: Youssef Ibrahim, Marwan Tarek, Ahmed El Mashad, Moustafa Asal, Ali Hassan, Mohamed El Shamy, while the Egyptian women's team is going to be represented by the following players: Hania El Hamamy, Rawan Reda, Zeina Mekawy, Amina Yasser, Jana Shiha, and Nada Abbas.

Omar Abdel Aziz will be coaching the men's team and Ahmed El Meteany will coach the women’s team.

The Egyptian team won the Cup for four consecutive times in 2009, 2011, 2013, and 2015.
