Zamalek placed with Saudi's Al Nasr in the Arab Clubs Championship

CAIRO, 7 March 2023: The 2023 Arab Championship (King Salman Club Cup), draw which was held on Monday, at Riyadh, resulted in Zamalek being placed in Group C along with Saudi club, Al Nasr, led by the Portuguese star, Cristiano Ronaldo.
 
 
The Arab Football Association announced earlier the establishment of the 2023 edition of the King Salman Club Championship in Saudi Arabia, with the participation of 37 Arab clubs, and announced financial prizes estimated at ten million dollars.
 
The first round of the King Salman Cup begins on March 13 and continues until April 12, 2023, and the second round begins on May 8 and ends on June 7, 2023, with the matches being in a knockout system, back and forth.
 
The list of first-round clubs included: Morocco's Al Gaish Al Malaky, Egypt's Talaea Al Gaish, Tunisia's Sfaxien, and Ettihad Al Ministiry from Tunisia, the Algerian Shabab Saoura and the Saudi's Al Shabab, Al-Sadd from Qatar, the Emirati Al Wehda, Al-Seeb and Al-Nahda from Amman.
 
Six clubs qualify from the first round, in addition to Ten clubs that qualify directly, and they are the champions of the Arab leagues, and they include the Moroccan Wydad, the Tunisian Esperance club, the Egyptian Zamalek, the Algerian Belouizdad, the Saudi Hilal, the Qatari Al Sadd and the Saudi Al-Nasr Club.
