Al Ahly's Koller calls for fans support in the next matches

CAIRO, 26 December 2022: Swiss Marcel Koller, coach of the first football team at Al-Ahly club, admitted that the red team did not play well in the first half of the Smouha match, stressing that the opponent played with a defensive plan.
 
Al Ahly and Smouha ended their Egyptian league match with a 0-0 draw held at Al Salam WE Stadium on Sunday night.
 
Al-Ahly coach revealed, during statements in the press conference after the match, that he did not see a team players wasting time every 3 minutes, indicating that this act is not provessional.
 
Koller explained that everyone watched the previous World Cup matches that were held in Qatar, and that the lost time was fully calculated, pointing out that the Al-Ahly and Smouha match wasted a lot of time and was not counted, calling for this matter to be addressed for the benefit of Egyptian football so that the pace is accelerated. 
 
 
Koller concluded his speech by saying: “I have a message to the Al-Ahly fans; the fans are less in the stands from one match to another, and we know that it is the striking force for Al-Ahly. My message to the fans is that we need you to attend matches in large numbers.”
