Egypt defeat Liberia 3-0 in a friendly match

CAIRO, 28 September 2022: Egypt’s national team achieved a comfortable 3-0 victory over Liberia, scored by Omar Marmoush, Mohamed Abdel Moneim and Ahmed Hassan Koka.
 
Egypt hosted Liberia on Tuesday, in the second feature for the Pharaohs with Portuguese coach Roy Vitoria, in preparation for the resumption of the 2024 AFCON qualifiers by facing Malawi, in March next year.
 
The first goal came in the 38th minute of this half, after a powerful shot from Omar Marmoush from outside the penalty area hit the defender of the Liberian national team and went to the far left of the goal, while the second goal came in the 58th minute by Mohamed Abdel Moneim, while Ahmed Hassan Koka scored the third goal in the minute Third of injury time.
 
The formation of the Egyptian national team against Liberia was as follows:
 
Goalkeeper: Mohamed El-Shennawy
Defenders:  Ahmed Hegazy, Mohamed Abdel-Moneim, Omar Gaber, Mohamed Hamdi.
Midfielders: Tarek Hamed, Mahmoud Hamada and Emam Ashour.
Attackers: Omar Marmoush and Mahmoud Trezeguet, and Ahmed Hassan Koka.
 
The national team had won during the first confrontation at the expense of Niger with three goals without a response, scored by Mohamed Salah "two goals" and Mustafa Mohamed "a goal.
