Basketball: Egypt faces South Sudan in Basketball World Cup Qualifiers

CAIRO, 28 August 2022: The Egyptian men's basketball team will meet with South Sudan, on Sunday, in the third World Cup qualifiers matches to be held in Tunisia and will continue until August 28.
 
The team played its first match against Tunisia last Friday, and with Cameroon on Saturday.
 
Egypt is in the final stage of the qualifiers in a group that includes: South Sudan, Tunisia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Senegal and Cameroon, with two teams qualifying directly to the World Cup finals with the best third place among the two groups.
 
The squad list includes: Anas Osama, Ihab Amin, Khaled Abdel Nasser, Saif Samir, Assem Marei, Ali Ahmed, Omar Tariq, Omar Azab, Omar Hisham, Amr El Gendy, Amr Zahran, Walid Abdel Gawad, Youssef Shehata and Youssef Shousha.
