CAIRO, 15 June 2022: The Egyptian national football team's delegation arrived in Cairo from South Korea, after a friendly match between the two teams on Tuesday.

The delegation of the Egyptian national team was headed by Khaled El Darandali, Vice President of the Football Association, and Mohamed Barakat, EFA Board member.

Our national team lost 1-4 against South Korea during the match that brought them together on Tuesday afternoon, at the latter's stadium in the Korean capital, "Seoul".

The national team presented a modest show over the 90 minutes, to continue the lackluster performances after losing to Ethiopia last Thursday with a clean double in the African Nations Qualifiers (Cote d'Ivoire 2023).

The team played a friendly Korea Republic without a large number of basic elements, led by the international star Mohamed Salah, Mohamed El-Nani, Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet, Hamdi Fathi and others, but this is not justified for this modest offer against the Korean team nicknamed "Samson".

Our team played a friendly Korea Republic with a formation that included Muhammad Al-Shennawi, Yasser Ibrahim, Omar Jaber, Mahmoud Al-Wensh, Omar Kamal, Amr Al-Sulayya, Muhannad Lashin, Ahmed Refaat, Ahmed Hamdi, Ibrahim Adel and Mustafa Muhammad.
