CAIRO, 5 June 2022: The Egyptian national football team, led by Ihab Galal, will open its upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers on Sunday, against Guinea, at 09:00 PM at Cairo International Stadium, where the Pharaohs are in Group D, accompanied by Guinea, Ethiopia and Malawi.
Ehab Galal seeks to achieve victory in the first appearance after taking over coaching the team, and won the first three points in the group and prove the eligibility of taking charge, accompanied by his assistant staff, which includes: Mohamed Shawky as general coach, Ahmed Hossam as assistant coach, and Essam El-Hadary, goalkeeper coach.
Ehab Galal settled on the starting line-up which will include:
GK: Abo Gabal
Defenders: Karim Hafez, Yasser Ibrahim, Al Wensh, Omar Gaber
Midfielders: Hamdi Fathi, Amr El Soleya and Mohannad Lashen
Attakers: Salah, Trezeguet, Ahmed Atef
Ehab Galal had included 29 players for the Egypt national team list, and the names were as follows: Muhammad Al-Shennawi - Muhammad Abu Gabal - Muhammad Sobhi - Mahmoud Gad - Omar Gaber - Omar Kamal - Mahmoud Alaa - Mahmoud Al-Wensh - Ahmed Hegazy - Ahmed Fattouh - Yasser Ibrahim - Ayman Ashraf - Mohamed Abdel Moneim - Mohamed Elneny - Mohannad Lashen - Hamdi Fathi - Amr Al Soleya - Mohamed Magdy Afsha - Ahmed Hamdy - Emam Ashour - Mohamed Salah - Ahmed Sayed "Zizou" - Mahmoud Trezeguet - Omar Marmoush - Mohamed Ibrahim - Ibrahim Adel - Ahmed Atef - Mustafa Mohamed - Karim Hafez.
On the other hand, the Guinean national team prepared well for this match and the technical staff is relying on the Guinean international star Naby Keita, the English star of Liverpool, who joined his team on Wednesday evening, before the Guinean team arrived Cairo on Friday in preparation for facing Egypt.
